I’m sorry there was no newsletter in September, but we spent most of the month travelling. We stayed in Sydney a couple of days and then headed over to New Zealand — yes, my favourite holiday destination. As always, we had an amazing time driving around in our motorhome, soaking in the scenery and enjoying the Kiwi hospitality.
And, as usual, I couldn’t help myself … I started yet another story! Here’s a little taste of the beginning: The clouds rolled low over the mountains, drifting like fog across the peaks. From the passenger seat, Natasha pressed her forehead against the cool window, watching the mist curl into the valleys. Mysterious and melodramatic. In a way, achingly beautiful. New Zealand didn’t disappoint, even in the heavy rain.
And yet, the beauty only made her feel void inside.
She choked back a snort. The counsellor had called it a healing holiday.
